Rakan Baybars
Rakan Baybars, a Counsel at Alkhieli & Associates, worked as a legal advisor for various organizations in different sectors such as telecommunications, energy, construction, professional services, and others. Rakan has rich and immense experience in representing the firm's clients by delivering groundbreaking capital market advice in mature and sophisticated markets. In addition, he has built up significant institutional knowledge by advising on securities transactions in the Kingdom. Rakan has also worked on numerous legislative and regulatory reform projects in the Kingdom. Additionally, he possesses the skill required to represent the market participants in public and private transactions.

Rakan has also participated in the legal reform of the telecommunications sector and the design & application of the policy statement of the telecommunications sector in Jordan. His areas of practice include regulation, energy, ICT, Financial Services, and legislative consulting. In addition, he also advises governments and authorities on Legislative projects and implementation of regulatory frameworks in the Kingdom. Before joining the law firm, Rakan was the Head of the Dispute Resolution Division with the Jordanian Telecommunications Regulatory Commission.
